Benny Taylor, a native of Newland, NC, a small mountain town, is the founder and lead pastor of United Pursuit Church. An honors graduate from Liberty University, Pastor Benny holds a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. He is a passionate visionary leader and bold communicator deeply dedicated to the people of United Pursuit, the spread of the Gospel, and building a community of faith.
Ashton Taylor is a native of Monroe, NC. She serves alongside her husband, but her primary ministry is in Christian Counseling. A master’s graduate of Liberty University, Ashton is a licensed clinical mental health counselor with her own private practice. She is a humble leader, deeply passionate about the local Church, parenting, and mental health.
Benny and Ashton have been married since February 2018 and make their home in the west Stanly County area of NC with their son, Ryle, daughters, Hayven and Laylyn, and fur babies Ms. Nova and Mr. Creed.
