Affiliation & Governance
We often describe ourselves as "Bapti-costal" because we hold primarily to Baptist doctrine while embracing the active work of the Holy Spirit. United Pursuit is an independent, elder-led local church that voluntarily cooperates with the Southern Baptist Convention while remaining committed first and foremost to the authority of Scripture, the lordship of Jesus Christ, and the mission of making disciples.
